Hızır Zübeyr was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 15 played minutes Zara FK got a freekick which was hit by Asaf Korhan. Asaf Korhan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Bozyazi's zone, Asaf Korhan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hızır Zübeyr came out of the goal and Asaf Korhan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Asaf Korhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Asaf Korhan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zara FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Asaf Korhan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hızır Zübeyr breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tunç Ahi to make the kick off. A collision led to Bozyazi getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Asaf Korhan got free with Hızır Zübeyr in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bozyazi's Hızır Zübeyr played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arda Göksel Orsel in the 96th minute of play.
