Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gazanfer Özcan Acaröz kicked off to start the match. Ali Vedat Çelikkan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Arman Zeyrek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kadim Yalkın showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Şimşek Özbas, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Şahap Demirtaş in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arman Zeyrek saved Gömec FK from getting behind. When Gazanfer Özcan Acaröz came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Gömec FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gazanfer Özcan Acaröz couldn't finish the play. In the 28th minute, Gömec FK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ali Vedat Çelikkan fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Şimşek Özbas in the 32nd minute of play forced Merzifon JK's goalkeeper Kadim Yalkın to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ali Vedat Çelikkan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th minute Şimşek Özbas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kadim Yalkın saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kadim Yalkın made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gazanfer Özcan Acaröz in the 37th minute of play. In the 41stth minute of the game Gazanfer Özcan Acaröz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Merzifon JK's Kadim Yalkın was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Şahap Demirtaş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Gömec FK's zone, Şahap Demirtaş stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arman Zeyrek came out of the goal and Şahap Demirtaş tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Vedat Çelikkan in the 53rd minute of play forced Gömec FK's goalkeeper Arman Zeyrek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kadim Yalkın made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gazanfer Özcan Acaröz in the 57th minute of play. Gazanfer Özcan Acaröz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Kadim Yalkın tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Şahap Demirtaş received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. If Gazanfer Özcan Acaröz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Şahap Demirtaş came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Merzifon JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Şahap Demirtaş couldn't finish the play. Merzifon JK's Şahap Demirtaş got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Gömec FK booed when Merzifon JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cankut Ilıca didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Gömec FK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
