In the 7th minute, Mustafa Cumhur Cerit ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sezer Sönmez was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 10 minutes into the game, Hüsmen Çelen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bozyazi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sungurlu the free kick. The supporters of Sungurlu booed when Bozyazi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hüsmen Çelen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ahmet Yahya Uyguner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ahmet Yahya Uyguner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Efekan Gökkır received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Sezer Sönmez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reha Kaveloğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Merih Özgunay having to interfere. When Bektaş Razi fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sungurlu's protests and gave Bektaş Razi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 23rd match minute, Sungurlu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bektaş Razi to maneuver through the defense. Merih Özgunay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Yahya Uyguner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sungurlu's Merih Özgunay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Yahya Uyguner in the 29th minute of play. 31 minutes into the game, Efekan Gökkır recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sezer Sönmez. Efekan Gökkır showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. When Ahmet Yahya Uyguner came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Bozyazi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet Yahya Uyguner couldn't finish the play. Merih Özgunay didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Reha Kaveloğlu went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Sungurlu booed when Bozyazi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Batu Cem Toprak didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Efekan Gökkır was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mustafa Cumhur Cerit in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sezer Sönmez saved Bozyazi from getting behind. After having played for 54 minutes, Mustafa Cumhur Cerit managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sungurlu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mustafa Cumhur Cerit was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 56thth minute of the game Mustafa Cumhur Cerit who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bozyazi's Sezer Sönmez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Efekan Gökkır sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efekan Gökkır in the 62nd minute of play forced Bozyazi's goalkeeper Sezer Sönmez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mustafa Cumhur Cerit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Sungurlu booed when Bozyazi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Seyfi Şahinalp didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sezer Sönmez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mustafa Cumhur Cerit in the 79th minute of the match. If Efekan Gökkır had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mustafa Cumhur Cerit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Yahya Uyguner in the 90th minute of play forced Sungurlu's goalkeeper Merih Özgunay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sungurlu's goalkeeper Merih Özgunay, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 96 minutes, Refik Halit Tor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sungurlu and the Bozyazi players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sungurlu fans cheered their team off the field, for while Bozyazi had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
