The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes in the game, Anıl Ozan Özenli fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Emir Dural having to interfere. In the 8th minute, Anıl Ozan Özenli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emir Dural showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anıl Ozan Özenli, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Bilge Kağan Akşin scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Göktuğ Kağan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Emir Dural took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anıl Ozan Özenli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Saruhanli's zone, Bilge Kağan Akşin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Göktuğ Kağan came out of the goal and Bilge Kağan Akşin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Mert Kartekin fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Catak SK's protests and gave Mert Kartekin a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Saruhanli booed when Catak SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mert Kartekin didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Anıl Ozan Özenli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bilge Kağan Akşin struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Göktuğ Kağan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Catak SK. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arın Canaydin in the 34th minute of play forced Saruhanli's goalkeeper Göktuğ Kağan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ahmet Oğuz Babayiğit during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Saruhanli's Ahmet Oğuz Babayiğit got a free kick in the 40th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beşir Korkutalp in the 47th minute of play forced Saruhanli's goalkeeper Göktuğ Kağan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Anıl Ozan Özenli made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Catak SK got a freekick which was hit by Ömer Bayram. In the 53rd minute Semi Erbatur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emir Dural saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 55 minutes into the match, Saruhanli's goalkeeper Göktuğ Kağan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bilge Kağan Akşin. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 65th match minute, Catak SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bilge Kağan Akşin to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute Semi Erbatur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emir Dural saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th minute of the match, Beşir Korkutalp tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Göktuğ Kağan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Göktuğ Kağan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beşir Korkutalp in the 89th minute of play. A collision led to Saruhanli getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Ahmet Oğuz Babayiğit hit a great ball. Aybek Raif's late challenge caught a Catak SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aybek Raif helped the player get up and apologised. Aybek Raif hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute of the match, Beşir Korkutalp tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Göktuğ Kağan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The Catak SK players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
