An unexpectedly hard shot by Ünal Ceceli in the 3rd minute of play forced Saruhanli's goalkeeper Göktuğ Kağan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ünal Ceceli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Göktuğ Kağan having to interfere. Suat Polat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Göktuğ Kağan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saruhanli's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nurhak the free kick. The supporters of Nurhak booed when Saruhanli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Oğuz Babayiğit didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saruhanli's Göktuğ Kağan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ünal Ceceli in the 38th minute of play. Göktuğ Kağan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ünal Ceceli showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 40 minute of play. When Alphan Uraz fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saruhanli's protests and gave Alphan Uraz a yellow card for diving instead. Alphan Uraz kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anıl Ozan Özenli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Yücel İdrisoğlu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In the 86th minute Suat Polat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Göktuğ Kağan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Göktuğ Kağan came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Nurhak's Ünal Ceceli. But to his dismay, Ünal Ceceli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. If Anıl Ozan Özenli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saruhanli's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
