Hilmi Akbilge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Şenel Orbey received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hilmi Akbilge came out and tried to block the shot, but Şenel Orbey slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Berkan Tecimer in the 28th minute of play forced Görele's goalkeeper Aysan İldemir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Görele's Şenel Orbey was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 30th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Hüseyin Rahmi Yağızhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aysan İldemir having to interfere. When Berkan Tecimer came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Tavsancil fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Berkan Tecimer couldn't finish the play. If Hüseyin Rahmi Yağızhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Şenel Orbey to strike the kick off in the second half. Aysan İldemir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hüseyin Rahmi Yağızhan in the 56th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Şenel Orbey's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hilmi Akbilge was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Ahmet Bülent Acıbadem hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Hüseyin Rahmi Yağızhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Hilmi Akbilge didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Şenel Orbey went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Görele's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
