Lütfullah Kılıçdaroğlu was extremely unlucky when he, in the 4th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 8 minutes, Şahap Cevizoğlu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Taksim JK and the Ödemis FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 7th minute, one of Taksim JK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Taksim JK. Lütfullah Kılıçdaroğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Müfit Fişek having to interfere. Nuratay Yeltekin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Armağan İksir. Taksim JK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 15 played minutes Taksim JK got a freekick which was hit by Güven Genç. Galip Kirtekin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 19 played minutes Ödemis FK got a freekick which was hit by Galip Kirtekin. Zeki Ayık fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armağan İksir having to interfere. Armağan İksir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Galip Kirtekin, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lütfullah Kılıçdaroğlu in the 29th minute of play forced Ödemis FK's goalkeeper Müfit Fişek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Armağan İksir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeki Ayık, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd match minute, Ödemis FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hatemi Rafiz to maneuver through the defense. Çelikan Koyas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Müfit Fişek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Zeki Ayık who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Armağan İksir when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Müfit Fişek came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Taksim JK's Kutay Ünzil. But to his dismay, Kutay Ünzil quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 60 minutes into the match, Çelikan Koyas notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Ödemis FK's Müfit Fişek. Müfit Fişek was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 63 minutes into the game, Eyüp Birsen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ödemis FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Taksim JK the free kick. In the 63rd match minute, Ödemis FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eyüp Birsen to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute, Ümit Kayrahan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Ödemis FK booed when Taksim JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kutay Ünzil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Armağan İksir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Galip Kirtekin in the 79th minute of play. If Lütfullah Kılıçdaroğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute.
