When Orbay Akdoğu fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Esenler's protests and gave Orbay Akdoğu a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Esenler getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Orbay Akdoğu hit a great ball. In the 14th minute, Baysal Taşkınay sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Esenler's Boğaçhan Ağcabey didn't even have to move. When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Ferman Uludoğan sped through Esenler's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Boğaçhan Ağcabey. In the 25th minute, Ferman Uludoğan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bostanci JK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Berker Rıza Enbiya to make the kick off. After 68 played minutes Esenler got a freekick which was hit by Mehmet Bilge Ersoy. Bostanci JK's Atilla Bumin Mücip played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fırat Tunca in the 73rd minute of play. In the 76th minute Ferman Uludoğan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boğaçhan Ağcabey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ferman Uludoğan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Esenler reached it. After some careless play in the Bostanci JK defense, Fırat Tunca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Atilla Bumin Mücip. The Bostanci JK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Atilla Bumin Mücip should have stopped the shot. The Bostanci JK players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
