In the 2nd match minute, Babaeski SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Kaan Vezir to maneuver through the defense. Uğuralp Tuğyan hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 8th minute, Nejat Alp Kani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ahmet Kutsi Akkurt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kılıçalp Öner in the 11th minute of play. With his leg Ahmet Kutsi Uma managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when Babaeski SK's Nejat Alp Kani fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a little luck, Menemen's Ahmet Kutsi Uma got control of the ball when Nejat Alp Kani tried to sneak it across the goal line. Menemen's Ahmet Kutsi Uma proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Menemen from getting a goal against them. In the 31st match minute, Menemen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zülfikar Uğurata to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Babaeski SK getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Barlas Turan hit a great ball. After 40 played minutes Babaeski SK got a freekick which was hit by Nejat Alp Kani. Arif Tugay Özger kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ünal Yanar to make the kick off. If Nejat Alp Kani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th minute, Ünal Yanar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Babaeski SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After 58 minutes, Hüseyin Kura mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Menemen and the Babaeski SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Menemen's Hüseyin Kura got a free kick in the 58th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Nejat Alp Kani managed to get in a good position for a shot. Babaeski SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Nejat Alp Kani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ahmet Kutsi Uma breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 60 minutes, Cemalettin Pekel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Menemen and the Babaeski SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cemalettin Pekel kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Ahmet Kutsi Uma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nejat Alp Kani in the 68th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute Cemalettin Pekel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Kutsi Akkurt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Cemalettin Pekel took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Ahmet Kutsi Akkurt to make any attempt to save it. In the 78th minute Cemalettin Pekel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Kutsi Akkurt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ünal Yanar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ahmet Kutsi Uma read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Ünal Yanar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Kutsi Uma having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, Menemen's goal looked a bit too open when Ünal Yanar came free, but Ahmet Kutsi Uma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kılıçalp Öner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Ahmet Kutsi Akkurt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nejat Alp Kani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Kutsi Uma having to interfere. Babaeski SK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
