Necmettin Tüzmen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Necat Yunus came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Lüleburgaz SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Necat Yunus couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Lüleburgaz SK booed when Hisarönü FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Atalan Taşel didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Hisarönü FK getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Mücahit Ulutaş hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Lüleburgaz SK's Sarper Ogün tried to score from far away in the 14th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 24 minutes into the match, Hisarönü FK's goalkeeper Necmettin Tüzmen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bayındır Mehmet Demirağ. When Melih Yıldızhan came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Lüleburgaz SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Melih Yıldızhan couldn't finish the play. 29 minutes into the match, Lüleburgaz SK's Bayındır Mehmet Demirağ sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Necmettin Tüzmen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Melih Yıldızhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Hisarönü FK's Gencay Çağman in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 34th minute of the game, Faruk Yanık landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Necat Yunus during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 36 played minutes Lüleburgaz SK got a freekick which was hit by Necat Yunus. Erkut Yastıkcığlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gencay Çağman in the 38th minute of play. Necmettin Tüzmen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bayındır Mehmet Demirağ in the 41st minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 54th minute, Bayındır Mehmet Demirağ made a precise shot to the right of Necmettin Tüzmen. Hisarönü FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After 65 played minutes Lüleburgaz SK got a freekick which was hit by Bayındır Mehmet Demirağ. Necmettin Tüzmen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melih Yıldızhan, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. The audience was convinced that Bayındır Mehmet Demirağ's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Necmettin Tüzmen was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Melih Yıldızhan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 77th match minute, Hisarönü FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atalan Taşel to maneuver through the defense. After 78 played minutes, Lüleburgaz SK's Sarper Ogün shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Necmettin Tüzmen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lüleburgaz SK reached it. In the 80thth minute of the game Melih Yıldızhan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hisarönü FK's Necmettin Tüzmen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee showed Atalan Taşel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Necmettin Tüzmen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bayındır Mehmet Demirağ, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Lüleburgaz SK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
