The supporters of Izmirspor SK booed when Akören JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Battal İkinci didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 46 minutes of play, Akören JK's Melih Nejat made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Güney Süner was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hıncal Devrim to strike the kick off in the second half. Hıncal Devrim might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kuddusî Hatemoğlu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hıncal Devrim ran back to his position shaking his head. Kuddusî Hatemoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hacı Burçhan in the 58th minute of play. Akören JK's Kuddusî Hatemoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hıncal Devrim in the 63rd minute of play. Sezer Cespan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Güney Süner having to interfere. Cuma Türk charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cuma Türk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Izmirspor SK getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Cuma Türk hit a great ball. The audience held their breath when Battal İkinci in the 71st minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Güney Süner's left hand side. Hıncal Devrim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Selmi Orcan's late challenge caught a Akören JK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Selmi Orcan helped the player get up and apologised. Güney Süner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melih Nejat in the 76th minute of play. 78 minutes into the game, Melih Nejat lined in a short shot 0-2 behind a frustrated Güney Süner. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Akören JK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
