Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Behlül Karabulut in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Numan İlter prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Yenisanayi SK's goalkeeper Numan İlter, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dolapdere's Dilaver Akdoğ played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nihat Onatkan in the 39th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nihat Onatkan was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ünsal Dağtekin in the 61st minute of play forced Dolapdere's goalkeeper Dilaver Akdoğ to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute Behlül Karabulut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Numan İlter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the game, Kadir Tecelli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dolapdere's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yenisanayi SK the free kick. The referee gave Yenisanayi SK a penalty, 79 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Bektaş Veli Ergazi, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Dolapdere's Dilaver Akdoğ. 1-1. In the 82nd minute, Nihat Onatkan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Yenisanayi SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. When Nihat Onatkan came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Yenisanayi SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nihat Onatkan couldn't finish the play. If Ünsal Dağtekin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
