Numan Özgunay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enes Özender in the 4th minute of play. If Ecevit Uçanay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. Numan Özgunay came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Galatasaray's Ahmet Orhan Ağar. But to his dismay, Ahmet Orhan Ağar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Enes Özender had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Yesilova JK getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Yavuz Bülent Eryavuz hit a great ball. Ahmet Orhan Ağar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 30 minutes into the game, Ahmet Orhan Ağar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Numan Özgunay was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Galatasaray getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Ceyhun Dindar hit a great ball. In the 37th minute, Enes Özender ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Numan Özgunay was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Numan Özgunay came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Galatasaray's Enes Özender. But to his dismay, Enes Özender quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4.

In the 51st minute, Yağızalp Bekdil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Yesilova JK getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Yavuz Bülent Eryavuz hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute, Gürsel Isfahanlı sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Yesilova JK's Numan Özgunay didn't even have to move. Enes Özenders short, quick shot in the 67thth minute got Numan Özgunay to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Enes Özender struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Numan Özgunay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galatasaray. A collision led to Galatasaray getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Hakkı Deniz Dağasan hit a great ball. An unexpected shot in the 82nd minute by Enes Özender got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Yesilova JK's Numan Özgunay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Orhan Ağar in the 85th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Galatasaray's Numan Özgunay threw himself towards the right post 87 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ahmet Orhan Ağar, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 90th minute, one of Yesilova JK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Yesilova JK. Oğuzkan Tankan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ecevit Uçanay in the 96th minute of play. Galatasaray played a much better game than Yesilova JK and deserved their victory. The Yesilova JK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
