After a rather tough play, Yesilova JK's Mithat Işıldar got a free kick in the 21st minute. Bozkurt Settar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Kozyatagi's Numan Özgunay threw himself towards the right post 28 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bozkurt Settar, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 31 minutes of play Kozyatagi's Ali Sezgi was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Ali Sezgi kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Batıray Ortun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yağızalp Bekdil in the 33rd minute of the match. If Necaettin Yücetekin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Yağızalp Bekdil to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Yesilova JK booed when Kozyatagi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bozkurt Settar didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute of the match Eray Kanber shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Batıray Ortun showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpected shot in the 59th minute by Yağızalp Bekdil got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Necaettin Yücetekin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yağızalp Bekdil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Batıray Ortun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Kozyatagi's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Arda Ülke fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 90th minute, Mustafa Emre Nasuh got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Numan Özgunay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Necaettin Yücetekin in the 91st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yağızalp Bekdil got free with Batıray Ortun in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Yesilova JK players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
