Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ahmet Orhan Ağar started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Kozyatagi booed when Galatasaray was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emirhan Müfit didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ahmet Orhan Ağar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ahmet Orhan Ağar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Batıray Ortun having to interfere. In the 13th match minute, Kozyatagi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Sezgi to maneuver through the defense. After 14 played minutes, Galatasaray's Gürsel Isfahanlı shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Batıray Ortun came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Galatasaray reached it. In the 17th minute, Enes Özender got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ahmet Orhan Ağar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Batıray Ortun having to interfere. Bozkurt Settar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Oğuzkan Tankan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Necaettin Yücetekin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Necaettin Yücetekin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Oğuzkan Tankan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enes Özender sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enes Özender struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Batıray Ortun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galatasaray. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bozkurt Settar was the one to do the kick off. Oğuzkan Tankan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bozkurt Settar in the 52nd minute of the match. 56 minutes into the game, one of Kozyatagi:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Gürsel Isfahanlı shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Galatasaray fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 71st minute. Penalty! Sancarbey Erdoğan shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Tarık Tunak charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tarık Tunak the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Necaettin Yücetekin took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oğuzkan Tankan. Oğuzkan Tankan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. When Enes Özender came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Galatasaray fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enes Özender couldn't finish the play. Tarık Tunak was shown his second yellow card after 90 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 90th match minute, Galatasaray was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tarık Tunak to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Bozkurt Settar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oğuzkan Tankan was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. Galatasaray's Oğuzkan Tankan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bozkurt Settar in the 94th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Necaettin Yücetekin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kozyatagi's supporters rose to their feet, but Necaettin Yücetekin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oğuzkan Tankan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emirhan Müfit was shown his second yellow card after 98 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The Kozyatagi supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Kozyatagi would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
