Abdi Bender could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Eser Suay made a huge save. Abdi Bender sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 20 minutes into the match, Ego's goal looked a bit too open when Tolgahan Uğurlubay came free, but Mürsel Yasin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Serbülent Yetişbey hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After 30 played minutes, Güzelbahce's Uğuralp Bozbora shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mürsel Yasin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Güzelbahce reached it. Ayvaz Mertkal hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Köksal Baykal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
If Arif Çelebi Karhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arif Çelebi Karhan scored 1-2 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eser Suay, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mürsel Yasin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Köksal Baykal in the 59th minute of play. Mürsel Yasin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harun Ekiner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Ahmet Seyfi Başat came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Ego fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet Seyfi Başat couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Güzelbahce's Harun Ekiner got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Güzelbahce's goalkeeper Eser Suay, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Güzelbahce's Eser Suay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdi Bender in the 69th minute of play. Eser Suay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdi Bender, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. 77 minutes into the game, Rahman Nizam was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Güzelbahce's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ego the free kick. Arif Çelebi Karhan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arif Çelebi Karhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Köksal Baykal received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mürsel Yasin came out and tried to block the shot, but Köksal Baykal slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 92nd minute. The Ego supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Güzelbahce's performance. The match ended with a win for Güzelbahce.
