Atalay Denizer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tümer Faydalı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Selahaddin Emekli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Sehzadepasa booed when Ahmetli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Atabek Koytak didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute, Özen Suat sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ahmetli's Şehzade Erencan didn't even have to move. After a rather tough play, Ahmetli's Atabek Koytak got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 32nd minute Atalay Denizer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şehzade Erencan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute of the match, Tümer Faydalı tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Selahaddin Emekli saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Tümer Faydalı came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Ahmetli fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tümer Faydalı couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Sehzadepasa's Orçun Taner got a free kick in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tümer Faydalı was the one to do the kick off. Ali Asım Sahadettin was extremely unlucky when he, in the 52nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Selahaddin Emekli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tümer Faydalı, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 58 minutes into the match, Ahmetli's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Asım Sahadettin came free, but Şehzade Erencan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Ahmetli's zone, Ali Asım Sahadettin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Şehzade Erencan came out of the goal and Ali Asım Sahadettin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Burhan Algın hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Şehzade Erencan was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Özen Suat. After 72 minutes, Orçun Taner mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sehzadepasa and the Ahmetli players grew even worse after the yellow card. Orçun Taner hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fahri Şinasi in the 92nd minute of play forced Sehzadepasa's goalkeeper Selahaddin Emekli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Şehzade Erencan made a fantastic save in the 99th minute, when Atalay Denizer sent off a good shot on target. Ahmetli's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
