The Sarigöl JK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 9th minute, Nuralp Nasrullah reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Orbay Özerol. The goal made the score 1-1. Atilla Tarkan Öğün sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zülfü Aksun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vedat Başay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Gazanfer Özcan Ogün tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sarigöl JK's Zülfü Aksun got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vedat Başay struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Gazanfer Özcan Ogün didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sarigöl JK. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Atilla Tarkan Öğün managed to get in a good position for a shot. Topkapi FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Atilla Tarkan Öğün was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Orbay Özerol breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 34th minute of the match Demiralp Dönmez shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gazanfer Özcan Ogün showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Orbay Özerol stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Atilla Tarkan Öğün's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sarigöl JK's goalkeeper Orbay Özerol, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 43rd minute, Topkapi FK's Atilla Tarkan Öğün dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zülfü Aksun stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Atilla Tarkan Öğün received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Orbay Özerol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nuralp Nasrullah blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Orbay Özerol having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nuralp Nasrullah in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Orbay Özerol prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gazanfer Özcan Ogün showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zülfü Aksun, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Sarigöl JK's Zülfü Aksun got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gencer Karataş struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Orbay Özerol didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Topkapi FK. The supporters of Topkapi FK booed when Sarigöl JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nurkan Akdoğ didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vedat Başay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gazanfer Özcan Ogün having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Vedat Başay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Gencer Karataş fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Topkapi FK's protests and gave Gencer Karataş a yellow card for diving instead. Gencer Karataş kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Zülfü Aksun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gazanfer Özcan Ogün having to interfere. Vedat Başay might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gazanfer Özcan Ogün. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vedat Başay ran back to his position shaking his head. If Kerem Ahsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zülfü Aksun in the 96th minute of play forced Topkapi FK's goalkeeper Gazanfer Özcan Ogün to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Orbay Özerol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuralp Nasrullah in the 98th minute of play.
