The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mehmet Edip Eskicioğlu during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hıdır Taşcıoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Çelikan Özerdinc, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Findikli's zone, Hakkı Rasih stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tayyip Özdil came out of the goal and Hakkı Rasih tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Findikli's Aras Eroğuz got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aras Eroğuz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Hıdır Taşcıoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Serdar Kabil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mehmet Edip Eskicioğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Çelikan Özerdinc made a kick off. Aras Eroğuz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Hıdır Taşcıoğlu made a huge save. 66 minutes into the match, Gevas JK's Hakkı Rasih sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tayyip Özdil narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Gevas JK booed when Findikli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdulvahit İskandil didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Hakkı Rasih managed to get in a good position for a shot.
