In the 5th play minute Arın Gümüş came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Cafer Baysan. 1-0. Arın Gümüş sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Tuna Volkan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Sinan Umar fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kocaelispor's protests and gave Sinan Umar a yellow card for diving instead. Sinan Umar kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After 18 played minutes Suburcu SK got a freekick which was hit by Nuratay Bektaş. Hafız Yaren hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tuna Volkan in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cafer Baysan saved Kocaelispor from getting behind. Cafer Baysan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tuna Volkan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arın Gümüş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cafer Baysan having to interfere. Olgun Aytekin kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tuna Volkan in the 40th minute of play forced Kocaelispor's goalkeeper Cafer Baysan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cafer Baysan made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Arın Gümüş sent off a good shot on target. In the 43rdth minute of the game Tuna Volkan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kocaelispor's Cafer Baysan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aktan Başar might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yavuzalp Ataoğlu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aktan Başar ran back to his position shaking his head.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tuna Volkan made a kick off. Tuna Volkan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tuna Volkan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Cafer Baysan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, Kocaelispor's goal looked a bit too open when Tuna Volkan came free, but Cafer Baysan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olgun Aytekin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 77th minute Arın Gümüş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cafer Baysan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Suburcu SK's Yavuzalp Ataoğlu got control of the ball when Aktan Başar tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Suburcu SK getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Nuratay Bektaş hit a great ball. Sinan Umar struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Yavuzalp Ataoğlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kocaelispor. Suburcu SK were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Kocaelispor for a fine match.
