Baskil's Kubilay Yenbu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ata Hürkan in the 6th minute of play. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Baskil's goalkeeper Kubilay Yenbu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mehmet Hamdi Sait kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Saltuk Sirri was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 20th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 21st minute, Yaşar Nuri Serbülend hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kubilay Yenbu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ata Hürkan, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. If Abdi Saygın Kadri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hacı Ali Dervişoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Orhan Seyfi Necid tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hacı Ali Dervişoğlu to make the kick off. Kubilay Yenbu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ensar Taib in the 53rd minute of play. Hacı Ali Dervişoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hacı Ali Dervişoğlu in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Orhan Seyfi Necid saved Doganyurt from getting behind. Orhan Seyfi Necid took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hacı Ali Dervişoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hacı Ali Dervişoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orhan Seyfi Necid having to interfere. If Abdi Saygın Kadri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ensar Taib in the 80th minute of play forced Baskil's goalkeeper Kubilay Yenbu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ata Hürkan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kubilay Yenbu having to interfere. When Doganyurt's Aşır Tüzünalp in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Baskil's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abdi Saygın Kadri got free with Orhan Seyfi Necid in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Baskil supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Baskil would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
