Necat Namık showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Kutsi Yöner in the 40th minute of the match. Arda Ozan Muharrem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mustafa Barış Uzbay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Birecik JK's Taha Usluer got a free kick in the 45th minute. Arda Ozan Muharrem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehmet Atabek in the 46th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ahmet Kutsi Yöner was the one to do the kick off. Mehmet Atabek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arda Ozan Muharrem having to interfere. Arda Ozan Muharrem didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mehmet Atabek went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Ahmet Kutsi Yöner sped through Boyabat's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Necat Namık. After a defensive mix-up in Birecik JK's zone, Mehmet Atabek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arda Ozan Muharrem came out of the goal and Mehmet Atabek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mehmet Atabek in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arda Ozan Muharrem saved Birecik JK from getting behind. Birkan Osman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mehmet Atabek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Arda Ozan Muharrem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mehmet Atabek succeeded in the game's 88th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-3. Necat Namık showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Birkan Osman in the 92nd minute of the match. After 93 played minutes Birecik JK got a freekick which was hit by Ulvi Hüsrev. Mustafa Barış Uzbay struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Arda Ozan Muharrem didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boyabat.
