In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Torbali FK's goalkeeper Mesut Oksay, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Mehmet Atabek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bahri Ogün took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mesut Oksay. Torbali FK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ruhi Günaydın received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Necat Namık tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th match minute, Boyabat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lütfi Acarbey to maneuver through the defense. Selman Koçer was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 27th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Ruhi Günaydın sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Mehmet Atabek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nedim Özkutsal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Boyabat's Mehmet Atabek got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mehmet Atabek struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Mesut Oksay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boyabat. In the 46th minute Ruhi Günaydın shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Necat Namık saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nedim Özkutsal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Necat Namık having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ruhi Günaydın to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Ruhi Günaydın managed to get in a good position for a shot. Torbali FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ruhi Günaydın was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Necat Namık breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 62nd match minute, Torbali FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baki Yenay to maneuver through the defense. Mustafa Barış Uzbay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Necat Namık showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruhi Günaydın in the 69th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nedim Özkutsal in the 70th minute of play forced Boyabat's goalkeeper Necat Namık to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Necat Namık made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruhi Günaydın in the 77th minute of play. Nedim Özkutsal in the 88thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Necat Namık, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After having played for 90 minutes, Mehmet Atabek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boyabat's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mehmet Atabek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mustafa Barış Uzbay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mesut Oksay having to interfere. Torbali FK's Mesut Oksay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehmet Atabek in the 95th minute of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
