Gürhan Toktamış's late challenge caught a Uzunköprü JK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gürhan Toktamış helped the player get up and apologised. In the 4th match minute, Yenikapi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gökberk Dirsehan to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mustafa Hamit Umut in the 11th minute of play forced Uzunköprü JK's goalkeeper Cevdet Erbaş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Yenikapi's Cevdet Erbaş threw himself towards the right post 12 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mustafa Hamit Umut, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to Uzunköprü JK getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Cihan Üstünbay hit a great ball. In the 18th minute Yenikapi were awarded a corner. Halil Utku Kuray went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Halil Utku Kuray almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Uzunköprü JK's Cevdet Erbaş did a great save. 19 minutes into the match, Mustafa Emrah Mukerrem notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Yenikapi's Cankut Sufi. Cankut Sufi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gürhan Toktamış received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Cevdet Erbaş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Timur Yesar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mustafa Emrah Mukerrem in the 31st minute of play forced Yenikapi's goalkeeper Cankut Sufi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yenikapi's Gürhan Toktamış got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mustafa Emrah Mukerrem struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Cankut Sufi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uzunköprü JK. Uzunköprü JK's Cevdet Erbaş proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Uzunköprü JK from getting a goal against them. Cankut Sufi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mustafa Emrah Mukerrem in the 43rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mustafa Emrah Mukerrem in the 44th minute of play forced Yenikapi's goalkeeper Cankut Sufi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Aras Orkutay came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Uzunköprü JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aras Orkutay couldn't finish the play. If Mustafa Emrah Mukerrem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Uzunköprü JK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The wind increased when Aras Orkutay made the kick off in the second half. If Mustafa Emrah Mukerrem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mustafa Emrah Mukerrem took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cankut Sufi. Cankut Sufi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Mustafa Emrah Mukerrem had several of the Yenikapi's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 65 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-3 score and a disappointed Cankut Sufi as he didn't even see the shot coming. Cankut Sufi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aras Orkutay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th match minute, Yenikapi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gökberk Dirsehan to maneuver through the defense. Aras Orkutay was extremely unlucky when he, in the 72nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Yenikapi's Cankut Sufi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Yenikapi from getting a goal against them. 77 minutes into the match, Uzunköprü JK's goal looked a bit too open when Gürhan Toktamış came free, but Cevdet Erbaş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cevdet Erbaş made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gürhan Toktamış in the 79th minute of play. When Aras Orkutay came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Uzunköprü JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aras Orkutay couldn't finish the play. After having played for 82 minutes, Mustafa Emrah Mukerrem managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uzunköprü JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mustafa Emrah Mukerrem was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
