An unexpectedly hard shot by Vecdi Kirtekin in the 9th minute of play forced Sarköy's goalkeeper Servet Kahraman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ahmet Fikret Ersezen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abbas Hendekli, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Abbas Hendekli spun around in front of the goal 14 minutes in the game and got away a good shot, but Ahmet Fikret Ersezen grabbed the ball before it went up in top right corner. Sarköy's Servet Kahraman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vecdi Kirtekin in the 16th minute of play. If Aşkın Mertkan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Abbas Hendekli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Şerif Karadağ's late challenge caught a Sarköy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Şerif Karadağ helped the player get up and apologised. After 24 played minutes Erenköy got a freekick which was hit by Şerif Karadağ. 28 minutes into the game, Erenköy's Aşkın Mertkan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Servet Kahraman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Servet Kahraman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vecdi Kirtekin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 48 minutes into the game, one of Sarköy:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 50th minute there was a penalty for Erenköy. Süleyman Geylanoğlu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Servet Kahraman. 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vecdi Kirtekin to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Aşkın Mertkan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Erenköy's supporters rose to their feet, but Aşkın Mertkan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Servet Kahraman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 70th minute Abbas Hendekli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Fikret Ersezen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Erenköy's zone, Kutay Secaat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Fikret Ersezen came out of the goal and Kutay Secaat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 96 minutes, Ulaş Aksel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sarköy and the Erenköy players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 96th match minute, Sarköy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulaş Aksel to maneuver through the defense. Aşkın Mertkan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Servet Kahraman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
