The audience thought a goal was coming when Ensar Erbay got free with Erol Demirhan in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Etiler SK's Göktürk Albayrak got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Göktürk Albayrak made a kick off. When Onur Ali Ongen fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Etiler SK's protests and gave Onur Ali Ongen a yellow card for diving instead. Onur Ali Ongen kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, Etiler SK's goalkeeper Selman Uluant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zeki Nezir. Zeki Nezir could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Selman Uluant made a huge save. Göktürk Albayrak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Ensar Erbay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Etiler SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ensar Erbay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erol Demirhan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 73rd minute, one of Etiler SK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Etiler SK. The goalkeeper, Selman Uluant, was totally fooled by Sarayönü SK's Yasin Atasoy, who 74 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Gürsel Vala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Zeki Nezir could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Selman Uluant made a huge save. When Bahadır Ezelhan fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Etiler SK's protests and gave Bahadır Ezelhan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 89th match minute, Etiler SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bahadır Ezelhan to maneuver through the defense. Selman Uluant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gürsel Vala in the 93rd minute of play. The Etiler SK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Sarayönü SK's performance. The match ended with a win for Sarayönü SK.
