Zeki Nezir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hüseyin Özluer having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kasım Uzel in the 34th minute of play forced Sarayönü SK's goalkeeper Erol Demirhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hüseyin Özluer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gürsel Vala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Mehmet Emin Ergök had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erol Demirhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kasım Uzel in the 44th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Gürsel Vala in the 65th minute of play forced Acigöl's goalkeeper Hüseyin Özluer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute Zeki Nezir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hüseyin Özluer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kasım Uzel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gürsel Vala in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hüseyin Özluer saved Acigöl from getting behind. Gürsel Vala might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hüseyin Özluer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gürsel Vala ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 96th minute, Gürsel Vala ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hüseyin Özluer was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. A collision led to Acigöl getting a freekick after 100 minutes play. Ahmet Baki Aydınalp hit a great ball.
