Suavi Masuk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 8 minutes into the match, Finike's Süleyman Pala sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tugay Bayrak narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 10th minute Erenay Hececi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Suavi Masuk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aytekin Turhan charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aytekin Turhan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Midyat booed when Finike was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aytekin Turhan didn't get a good kick on the ball. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Süleyman Pala to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Midyat's Aşık Çetinsoy got a free kick in the 53rd minute. When Seyfullah Tuğrul fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Finike's protests and gave Seyfullah Tuğrul a yellow card for diving instead. In the 55th match minute, Finike was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Seyfullah Tuğrul to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th match minute, Finike was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yusuf Ziya Özender to maneuver through the defense. Tugay Bayrak stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rauf Keskin's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Yaser Demiroğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Midyat's supporters rose to their feet, but Yaser Demiroğlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Suavi Masuk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Erenay Hececi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Suavi Masuk having to interfere.
