The referee ignored Elazigspor's protests and gave Işık Kutlutekin a yellow card for diving instead. Işık Kutlutekin hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Görkem Arıcan got free with Mustafa Hakan Uruz in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 11 minutes into the match, Elazigspor's goalkeeper Mustafa Hakan Uruz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Görkem Arıcan. Mustafa Hakan Uruz was a little too slow when Görkem Arıcan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 11th minute. The score was now 1-0. Osmangazi FK's Sadri Tanzer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gencal Akdemirci in the 14th minute of play. If Gencal Akdemirci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 21 minutes into the match, Elazigspor's Gencal Akdemirci sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sadri Tanzer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Görkem Arıcan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Osmangazi FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Görkem Arıcan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aziz Cenap made a kick off. If Ercüment Ergüder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Gencal Akdemirci managed to get in a good position for a shot. Elazigspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Gencal Akdemirci was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aziz Cenap received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Mustafa Hakan Uruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mustafa Hakan Uruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aziz Cenap in the 89th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gencal Akdemirci got free with Sadri Tanzer in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sadri Tanzer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hayrullah Tavil in the 95th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Elazigspor eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
