When Yiğit Can Ergün fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lacin's protests and gave Yiğit Can Ergün a yellow card for diving instead. Yiğit Can Ergün kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. After having played for 4 minutes, Abdulaziz Başar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aricak's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdulaziz Başar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Şemsettin Uçar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Baturalp Erginay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bilgin Sabih kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 11th minute of the match Yiğit Can Ergün shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Baturalp Erginay showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Aricak's Abdulaziz Başar got a free kick in the 11th minute. Baturalp Erginay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afşin Halıcıoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Başaran Tuna struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Baturalp Erginay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lacin. Lacin's İzzettin Asıf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bilgin Sabih in the 20th minute of play. If Afşin Halıcıoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. İzzettin Asıf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bilgin Sabih in the 25th minute of play. Göktan Reşans short, quick shot in the 27thth minute got İzzettin Asıf to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Fikri Oker kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Aricak's Sadri Gezer tried to score from far away in the 29th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Aricak's İzzettin Asıf threw himself towards the right post 42 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bilgin Sabih, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Göktan Reşan got free with İzzettin Asıf in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 47th minute, Bilgin Sabih got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Başaran Tuna made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Lacin's goal looked a bit too open when Göktan Reşan came free, but İzzettin Asıf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bilgin Sabih received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. İzzettin Asıf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fikri Oker kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Lacin's İzzettin Asıf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bilgin Sabih in the 58th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Afşin Halıcıoğlu got free with Baturalp Erginay in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 68 minutes into the match, Afşin Halıcıoğlu notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Aricak's Baturalp Erginay. Baturalp Erginay was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A hard shot 92 in the game by Afşin Halıcıoğlu from a close distance when the talented Baturalp Erginay managed to make a qualified save. Aricak's players were relieved. The supporters of Lacin booed when Aricak was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdulaziz Başar didn't get a good kick on the ball.
