A hard shot 9 in the game by Oğuz Özbir from a close distance when the talented Gürhan Toran managed to make a qualified save. Babaeski's players were relieved. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Orhan Seyfi Kıvılcım in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gürhan Toran saved Babaeski from getting behind. 12 minutes into the match, Cayeli FK's goal looked a bit too open when Furkan Yahya came free, but Mehmet Oğuz Cerit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cayeli FK's Mehmet Oğuz Cerit played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Furkan Yahya in the 18th minute of play. Hakan Arıcan struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Mehmet Oğuz Cerit didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Babaeski. When Furkan Yahya fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Babaeski's protests and gave Furkan Yahya a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Babaeski getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Furkan Yahya hit a great ball. When Oğuz Özbir came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Cayeli FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oğuz Özbir couldn't finish the play. In the 31st match minute, Cayeli FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Balamir Sadik to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Furkan Yahya in the 32nd minute of play forced Cayeli FK's goalkeeper Mehmet Oğuz Cerit to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Cayeli FK's Oğuz Özbir sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gürhan Toran narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gürhan Toran yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Furkan Yahya made the kick off in the second half. Gürbüz Işık hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Gürhan Toran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oğuz Özbir, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. When Mustafa Numan Erüstün fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cayeli FK's protests and gave Mustafa Numan Erüstün a yellow card for diving instead. In the 74th minute, Mustafa Numan Erüstün hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mustafa Numan Erüstün got his second yellow card in the match during the 76th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 77 played minutes Cayeli FK got a freekick which was hit by Mustafa Numan Erüstün. 77 minutes into the match, Babaeski's Gürbüz Işık broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. With a little luck, Cayeli FK's Mehmet Oğuz Cerit got control of the ball when Hakan Arıcan tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Furkan Yahya in the 82nd minute of play forced Cayeli FK's goalkeeper Mehmet Oğuz Cerit to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hakan Arıcan spun around in front of the goal 84 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Cayeli FK's goal. In the 86th minute, Furkan Yahya got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Babaeski's Hakan Arıcan got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ensar İnanoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Babaeski players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cayeli FK.
