If Bora Han Ayazoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 10 minutes, Battal Yıldızhan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Catalca SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Battal Yıldızhan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Halil Vacit took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bora Han Ayazoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Bora Han Ayazoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute, Bora Han Ayazoğlu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Baskale's Halil Vacit played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Battal Yıldızhan in the 19th minute of play. Necmi Ünüvar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Halil Vacit showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Battal Yıldızhan, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Burhanettin Hürsoy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Abdulkadir Zağanos made a huge save. Abbas Tangun hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Battal Yıldızhan struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Halil Vacit didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Catalca SK. 40 minutes into the match, Baskale's goal looked a bit too open when Battal Yıldızhan came free, but Halil Vacit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Samir Naim kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bora Han Ayazoğlu in the 45th minute of play forced Baskale's goalkeeper Halil Vacit to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Necmi Ünüvar was the one to do the kick off. Samir Yasun hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Arcan Kutlar, 55 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. A collision led to Baskale getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Suphi Evirgen hit a great ball. The supporters of Catalca SK booed when Baskale was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samir Naim didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute, Suphi Evirgen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Catalca SK's Halil Vacit threw himself towards the right post 59 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Battal Yıldızhan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 64th minute Şadi Cevan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Halil Vacit saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Necmi Ünüvar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bora Han Ayazoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Halil Vacit tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Battal Yıldızhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Halil Vacit having to interfere. A hard shot 82 in the game by Bora Han Ayazoğlu from a close distance when the talented Halil Vacit managed to make a qualified save. Baskale's players were relieved. Abuzer Çoğun's late challenge caught a Catalca SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abuzer Çoğun helped the player get up and apologised. Abuzer Çoğun kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Bora Han Ayazoğlu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Halil Vacit made a huge save. Baskale's defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when Battal Yıldızhan scored to the left of an out of position Halil Vacit, making the score, 0-1. The Catalca SK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Catalca SK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
