The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ahmet Danış Barın charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Abdulkadir Zağanos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baykam Rakim in the 25th minute of play. Enis Geylani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ahmet Danış Barın hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After having played for 32 minutes, Battal Yıldızhan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Catalca SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Battal Yıldızhan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Battal Yıldızhan got free with Anıl Baran Ülküm in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Abdulkadir Zağanos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enis Geylani, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Baykam Rakim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Abdulkadir Zağanos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baykam Rakim in the 45th minute of play forced Catalca SK's goalkeeper Abdulkadir Zağanos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abdulkadir Zağanos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enis Geylani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Baykam Rakim managed to get in a good position for a shot. TokatSPOR's supporters rose to their feet, but Baykam Rakim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abdulkadir Zağanos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Abdulkadir Zağanos made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Baykam Rakim sent off a good shot on target. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Catalca SK's goalkeeper Abdulkadir Zağanos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to TokatSPOR getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Şaban Erbay hit a great ball. Şaban Erbay charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. TokatSPOR's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Battal Yıldızhan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Baykam Rakim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Şaban Erbay kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Anıl Baran Ülküm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Battal Yıldızhan in the 87th minute of play. Enis Geylani blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abdulkadir Zağanos having to make a save. Abdulkadir Zağanos made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Baykam Rakim sent off a good shot on target. Battal Yıldızhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anıl Baran Ülküm having to interfere. Dilaver Karasu hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Ertunç Selami was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 95th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Baykam Rakim could shoot a difficult shot in the 97th minute, which Abdulkadir Zağanos however easily saved by the left post.
