Abdulkadir Zağanos had in the 4thth minute some difficulties stopping Güral Armağan's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Battal Yıldızhan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Ahmet Bedri Acaroğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baybora Cerme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Bedri Acaroğlu having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Baybora Cerme kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ahmet Bedri Acaroğlu. That made the score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. Gürkan Girgin hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baybora Cerme in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ahmet Bedri Acaroğlu saved EfekayaFC from getting behind. Gürkan Girgin hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Battal Yıldızhan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Ahmet Bedri Acaroğlu made a huge save. After 34 minutes, Nusret Coşkunsu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the EfekayaFC and the Catalca SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 35th minute, Arcan Kutlar sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and EfekayaFC's Ahmet Bedri Acaroğlu didn't even have to move. When Battal Yıldızhan came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Catalca SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Battal Yıldızhan couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Abdulkadir Zağanos stood somewhat misplaced when Feyzullay Sefaaddin came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 51 minute. Ahmet Bedri Acaroğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Battal Yıldızhan in the 71st minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, EfekayaFC's Cüneyt Devan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abdulkadir Zağanos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 80 played minutes Catalca SK got a freekick which was hit by Şerif Akın. A collision led to EfekayaFC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Nusret Coşkunsu hit a great ball. Battal Yıldızhan took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ahmet Bedri Acaroğlu. Ahmet Bedri Acaroğlu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Arcan Kutlar kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Baybora Cerme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. EfekayaFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
