To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ahmet Ceyhan Kutberk hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Melih Temirkut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuralp Akboğa in the 24th minute of the match. In the 30th minute of the match Ekrem Şahit shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Günalp İlkan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Melih Temirkut took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orbay Koçhan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Melih Temirkut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuralp Akboğa in the 39th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Orbay Koçhan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ertaç Gayret received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Günalp İlkan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Nuralp Akboğa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Melih Temirkut tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
