The audience thought a goal was coming when Gökberk Yürük got free with Şentürk Acaroğlu in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zülfikar Sarıalp struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Beşir Özoğuz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Go Fitness Uzunköprü. When Zülfikar Sarıalp came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Go Fitness Uzunköprü fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zülfikar Sarıalp couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Göztepe JK getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Tolga Zade hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ahmet Turan Dilhun during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 25th minute, Ahmet Turan Dilhun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Şentürk Acaroğlu managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when Göztepe JK's Gökberk Yürük fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Go Fitness Uzunköprü's Şentürk Acaroğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yağızalp Bağcı in the 28th minute of play. Beşir Özoğuz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zülfikar Sarıalp in the 30th minute of play. A collision led to Göztepe JK getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Şaban Kurceren hit a great ball. Beşir Özoğuz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zülfikar Sarıalp's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. After some careless play in the Go Fitness Uzunköprü defense, Gökberk Yürük kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Şentürk Acaroğlu. The Go Fitness Uzunköprü fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Şentürk Acaroğlu should have stopped the shot. Nejat Alp Çetin hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Go Fitness Uzunköprü's Şentürk Acaroğlu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Go Fitness Uzunköprü from getting a goal against them. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zülfikar Sarıalp was the one to do the kick off. Go Fitness Uzunköprü's Şentürk Acaroğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yağızalp Bağcı in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th minute, Gökberk Yürük ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Şentürk Acaroğlu was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Beşir Özoğuz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zülfikar Sarıalp's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Go Fitness Uzunköprü's goal looked a bit too open when Gökberk Yürük came free, but Şentürk Acaroğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nazmi Nesil hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute of the match Bahtiyar Ersezen shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Şentürk Acaroğlu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Zülfikar Sarıalp took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Beşir Özoğuz to make any attempt to save it. In the 80th minute Yağızalp Bağcı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şentürk Acaroğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Yağızalp Bağcı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by İlkan Bayır during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. İlkan Bayır kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Go Fitness Uzunköprü's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
