Hakkı Devrim User was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Ertaç Yalaz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ertaç Yalaz really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 26th minute, Emrah Okuyan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Ertaç Yalaz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hakkı Devrim User. That made the score 3-0 in the 31 minute of play. If Emrah Okuyan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the game, Altay Oktar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Karamadrid's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yenikapi the free kick. After 42 played minutes Karamadrid got a freekick which was hit by Altay Oktar. Hakkı Devrim User made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agah Tanyolaç in the 44th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The wind increased when Emrah Okuyan made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 55 minutes, Ertaç Yalaz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Karamadrid's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ertaç Yalaz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 59 minutes into the game, Hakkı Onur Hicab was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Karamadrid's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yenikapi the free kick. After a rather tough play, Karamadrid's Hakkı Onur Hicab got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 64th minute, Ertaç Yalaz made a precise shot to the right of Hakkı Devrim User. Yenikapi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. The supporters of Karamadrid booed when Yenikapi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hakkı Onur Akkuş didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cuma Saatçioğlu struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Hakkı Devrim User didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Karamadrid. After some careless play in the Yenikapi defense, Agah Tanyolaç kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hakkı Devrim User. The Yenikapi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hakkı Devrim User should have stopped the shot. If Mehmet Hakkı Akbey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hakkı Devrim User showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cuma Saatçioğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Hakkı Devrim User made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cuma Saatçioğlu in the 82nd minute of play. Cuma Saatçioğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hakkı Devrim User having to interfere. In the 96th minute Ertaç Yalaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hakkı Devrim User saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Karamadrid fans cheered their team off the field, for while Yenikapi had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
