Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Karakocan's Şinasi Işılay started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hakkı Tankoç took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şinasi Işılay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 7 minutes, Yavuz Keçeci managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Safranbolu JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yavuz Keçeci was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Şinasi Işılay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Hakkı Tankoç tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Tayyip Battal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the game, Osman Nuri Bardakçı was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Karakocan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Safranbolu JK the free kick. 24 minutes into the match, Safranbolu JK's Yavuz Keçeci sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bünyamin Ünal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Karakocan's Tayyar Akalın got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 26thth minute of the game Yavuz Keçeci who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Karakocan's Bünyamin Ünal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 28th minute of the match Safranbolu JK got a corner. Karakocan's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Azim Ulubay ran over to the corner to take the kick. 31 minutes into the match, Safranbolu JK's goal looked a bit too open when Şinasi Işılay came free, but Hakkı Tankoç reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tayyip Battal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Hakkı Tankoç tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37th match minute, Safranbolu JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yağızalp Sökmensu to maneuver through the defense. Yavuz Keçeci recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 42nd minute, Tayyip Battal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Safranbolu JK getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Samet Sarif hit a great ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yavuz Keçeci made a kick off. Şinasi Işılay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 67 minutes into the match, Safranbolu JK's goal looked a bit too open when Tayyip Battal came free, but Hakkı Tankoç reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tansu Harmandalı's late challenge caught a Karakocan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tansu Harmandalı helped the player get up and apologised. In the 73rd match minute, Safranbolu JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tansu Harmandalı to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 77 minutes, Tayyip Battal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Karakocan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tayyip Battal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Şinasi Işılay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hakkı Tankoç having to interfere. In the 82nd match minute, Safranbolu JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Musa İkinci to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rd minute of the match Osman Nuri Bardakçı sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hakkı Tankoç skillfully saved the ball. 92 minutes into the game, Kunter Yalınalp cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Hakkı Tankoç was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Karakocan had played much better football throughout.
