Mirza Şahbey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arda Göksel Danış in the 6th minute of the match. Abdi Mehmet Bektaş made an important save on a dangerous shot by Şeray Budak in the 8th minute. Yıldıray Ceri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdi Mehmet Bektaş having to interfere. A collision led to Diyarbakir getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Tayfun Sati hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute of the match, Yıldıray Ceri tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Abdi Mehmet Bektaş saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Mirza Şahbey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arda Göksel Danış in the 25th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Yıldırım Hekimoğlu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Hassa booed when Diyarbakir was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zeynel Olgaç didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The wind increased when Yıldıray Ceri made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Yıldıray Ceri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdi Mehmet Bektaş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute, Yıldırım Hekimoğlu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mirza Şahbey was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Hassa's Yıldırım Hekimoğlu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mirza Şahbey. That made the score 0-4 after 60 minutes of play. In the 64th minute Arda Göksel Danış shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mirza Şahbey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Şeray Budak in the 68th minute of play forced Hassa's goalkeeper Abdi Mehmet Bektaş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mirza Şahbey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arda Göksel Danış, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Yıldırım Hekimoğlu succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-5 in the 72nd playminute. Hassa's Abdi Mehmet Bektaş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yıldıray Ceri in the 81st minute of play. Diyarbakir's Mirza Şahbey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Diyarbakir from getting a goal against them. With his leg Mirza Şahbey managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when Hassa's Yıldırım Hekimoğlu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Şeray Budak's late challenge caught a Hassa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Şeray Budak helped the player get up and apologised. Şeray Budak kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Yıldıray Ceri left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Diyarbakir fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yıldırım Hekimoğlu got free with Mirza Şahbey in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
