The audience was convinced that Şenel Ozansu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teoman İzgü was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. In the 20th minute, Reis Rasif got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 22 minutes into the game, Şenel Ozansu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Teoman İzgü was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Serhat Cantürk made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Reis Rasif sent off a good shot on target. Serhat Cantürk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hıncal Tokgöz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 31 played minutes, Fikirtepe FK's Alpertunga Berat shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Serhat Cantürk came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fikirtepe FK reached it. Serhat Cantürk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hıncal Tokgöz's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Şenel Ozansu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Serhat Cantürk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Demirhan Karaman in the 39th minute of the match. Teoman İzgü took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şenel Ozansu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute, Ahmet Ceyhan Yalazabey ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Teoman İzgü was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The Fikirtepe FK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Güdül SK were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Melik Arslanoğlu to strike the kick off in the second half. Fikirtepe FK's Reis Rasif got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Güdül SK defense, Hıncal Tokgöz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Serhat Cantürk. The Güdül SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Serhat Cantürk should have stopped the shot. Serhat Cantürk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reis Rasif in the 66th minute of the match. Fikirtepe FK's Teoman İzgü proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Fikirtepe FK from getting a goal against them. Hıncal Tokgöz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hıncal Tokgöz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serhat Cantürk having to interfere. After 89 minutes, Bilgin Oğurata mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fikirtepe FK and the Güdül SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Güdül SK's Serhat Cantürk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hıncal Tokgöz in the 99th minute of play.
