Doğaner Ayçetin started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doğaner Ayçetin in the 7th minute of play forced Izmit FK's goalkeeper İsa Erginsoy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ahmet Hasan Yüce could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but İsa Erginsoy made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Nabi Tuney in the 22nd minute of play forced Samsunsporv2's goalkeeper Mustafa İzzet Kumuk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot by Serdar Baliç from long distance, 24 minutes into the match, got İsa Erginsoy's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 38 minutes into the match, Samsunsporv2's goal looked a bit too open when Ilgaz Ünlü came free, but Mustafa İzzet Kumuk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Samsunsporv2's Mustafa İzzet Kumuk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ilgaz Ünlü in the 40th minute of play. Serdar Baliç took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 41st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for İsa Erginsoy. Izmit FK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ahmet Hasan Yüce scored 2-0 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of İsa Erginsoy, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ilgaz Ünlü kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ilgaz Ünlü to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Samsunsporv2's Mustafa İzzet Kumuk got control of the ball when Baransel Adalı tried to sneak it across the goal line. Baransel Adalı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Mustafa İzzet Kumuk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mustafa İzzet Kumuk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ilgaz Ünlü in the 58th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Izmit FK's zone, Doğaner Ayçetin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. İsa Erginsoy came out of the goal and Doğaner Ayçetin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 64th minute, Ilgaz Ünlü got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Doğaner Ayçetin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th match minute, Izmit FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duran Onaran to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Doğaner Ayçetin in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg İsa Erginsoy saved Izmit FK from getting behind. İsa Erginsoy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Hasan Yüce in the 76th minute of play. Mustafa İzzet Kumuk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ilgaz Ünlü in the 81st minute of the match. After some careless play in the Samsunsporv2 defense, Baransel Adalı kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mustafa İzzet Kumuk. The Samsunsporv2 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mustafa İzzet Kumuk should have stopped the shot. İsa Erginsoy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rıza Eldem in the 95th minute of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
