Muharrem İnegöllü recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Muharrem İnegöllü sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Halfeti FK defense, Özdemir Dikmen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Refik Halit Okatay. The Halfeti FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Refik Halit Okatay should have stopped the shot. In the 24th minute, Samim Ömür reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Orbay Iğdırlı. The goal made the score 1-2. 30 minutes into the match, Bektaş Ali Özgunes notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Halfeti FK's Refik Halit Okatay. Refik Halit Okatay was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Orbay Iğdırlı showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samim Ömür in the 38th minute of the match. If Samim Ömür had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sertaç Mutlutekin shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Samim Ömür sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Halfeti FK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Gebze SK were winning 1-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bektaş Ali Özgunes made a kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Ahmet Ömür Tansan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gebze SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Halfeti FK the free kick. Ahmet Ömür Tansan hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. After 55 played minutes Gebze SK got a freekick which was hit by Nazil Bekdil. In the 56th minute of the match Sertaç Mutlutekin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Orbay Iğdırlı showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Samim Ömür had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Orbay Iğdırlı stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Samim Ömür's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Refik Halit Okatay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bektaş Ali Özgunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Orbay Iğdırlı made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Muharrem İnegöllü in the 66th minute of play. When Halfeti FK's Samim Ömür in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gebze SK's goalie prevented a goal. If Muharrem İnegöllü had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Muharrem İnegöllü struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Orbay Iğdırlı didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Halfeti FK. Nazil Bekdil got his second yellow card in the match during the 82nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Gebze SK's Nazil Bekdil got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 87th minute Muharrem İnegöllü shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orbay Iğdırlı saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Orbay Iğdırlı showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Muharrem İnegöllü in the 95th minute of the match. Muharrem İnegöllü took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Orbay Iğdırlı. Orbay Iğdırlı dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Gebze SK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
