The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by İslam Mutlualp in the 3rd minute of play forced Askale's goalkeeper Tacettin Nuralp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 3rd match minute, Askale was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anıl Ozan Yuvakuran to maneuver through the defense. Tacettin Nuralp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İslam Mutlualp in the 4th minute of play. In the 12th minute of the match, Koray Elçioğlu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tacettin Nuralp was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 14th match minute, Askale was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anıl Ozan Yuvakuran to maneuver through the defense. Malatyaspor's Mustafa Emrah Vacip got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tacettin Nuralp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gürcan Karakaya in the 21st minute of play. Kayhan Sarıkaya could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Tacettin Nuralp made a huge save. In the 29th minute, Kayhan Sarıkaya ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tacettin Nuralp was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Yunus Akkın made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şadi Serafet in the 33rd minute of play. Tacettin Nuralp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mahir Uysal in the 36th minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Şadi Serafet made a precise shot to the right of Yunus Akkın. Malatyaspor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. When Askale's Ömer Oytun in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Malatyaspor's goalie prevented a goal. After 46 played minutes Malatyaspor got a freekick which was hit by Mahir Uysal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. The supporters of Askale booed when Malatyaspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. İslam Mutlualp didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Şadi Serafet kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Yunus Akkın. That made the score 3-2 in the 61 minute of play. After 65 played minutes Malatyaspor got a freekick which was hit by Mahir Uysal. Tacettin Nuralp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İslam Mutlualp in the 68th minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, Malatyaspor's goalkeeper Yunus Akkın had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ömer Oytun. İslam Mutlualp's late challenge caught a Askale's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. İslam Mutlualp helped the player get up and apologised. In the 79th minute, İslam Mutlualp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tacettin Nuralp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kayhan Sarıkaya in the 87th minute of the match. In the 89th minute, Şadi Serafet reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Yunus Akkın. The goal made the score 3-3. Tacettin Nuralp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gürcan Karakaya, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute.
