The audience thought a goal was coming when Ömer Oytun got free with Yetkin Taykoç in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Acipayam defense, Ömer Oytun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yetkin Taykoç. The Acipayam fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yetkin Taykoç should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Acipayam's Namık Kemal Onsoy got a free kick in the 15th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abdullah Ünlüol during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 40 played minutes, Acipayam's Cuma Suerkan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tacettin Nuralp came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Acipayam reached it. Tacettin Nuralp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuri Işık in the 42nd minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ömer Oytun stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bayındır Bilgehan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Yetkin Taykoç tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cuma Suerkan kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Askale's Ömer Oytun got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 67 played minutes Askale got a freekick which was hit by Şadi Serafet. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Acipayam's goalkeeper Yetkin Taykoç, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Askale's Tacettin Nuralp proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Askale from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Askale's zone, Nuri Işık stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tacettin Nuralp came out of the goal and Nuri Işık tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abdullah Ünlüol kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Yetkin Taykoç showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ömer Oytun, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. When Ömer Oytun came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Askale fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ömer Oytun couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ömer Oytun in the 88th minute of play forced Acipayam's goalkeeper Yetkin Taykoç to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anıl Cenk Kirtekin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yetkin Taykoç having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Atilla Tarkan Ayyıldız got free with Tacettin Nuralp in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Acipayam walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
