When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Bektaş Salik sped through Galatasaray's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kasım Özakıncı. When Uğuralp Çakman came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Karakocan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Uğuralp Çakman couldn't finish the play. Hürkan Özkan hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Seyhan Cerit in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kasım Özakıncı saved Galatasaray from getting behind. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
