The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 played minutes SonCeLLat got a freekick which was hit by Ayvaz Mustafali. Seyhun Işıldar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Mehmet Hamdi Elmacıoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erenay Cevar came free with the goalkeeper in the 17th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Mehmet Hamdi Elmacıoğlu could save by the left post. Seyhun Işıldar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mehmet Hamdi Elmacıoğlu came out and tried to block the shot, but Seyhun Işıldar slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 21st minute. Erenay Cevar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Hamdi Elmacıoğlu having to interfere. SonCeLLat's Mehmet Hamdi Elmacıoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Seyhun Işıldar in the 27th minute of play. Mehmet Hamdi Elmacıoğlu made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Erenay Cevar sent off a good shot on target. After 30 played minutes BB Erzurumspor got a freekick which was hit by Abdülhak Akdoğu. Okan Gök sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Akın Cesman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celil Zor, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. If Abdi Turabi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind BB Erzurumspor's goalkeeper Akın Cesman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ahmet Seyfi Aşkıner hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Akın Cesman was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Okan Gök showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 56 minute of play. A collision led to SonCeLLat getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Abdi Turabi hit a great ball. With a little luck, BB Erzurumspor's Akın Cesman got control of the ball when Okan Gök tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 69th minute Seyhun Işıldar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Hamdi Elmacıoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ahmet Kağan Doğanlar, 73 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. SonCeLLat's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celil Zor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the SonCeLLat defense, Erenay Cevar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mehmet Hamdi Elmacıoğlu. The SonCeLLat fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mehmet Hamdi Elmacıoğlu should have stopped the shot. After having played for 97 minutes, Sebati Sefer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BB Erzurumspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebati Sefer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. BB Erzurumspor were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of SonCeLLat for a fine match.
