Şamil Kornes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nedim Şanlı in the 4th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gürcan Vefalı during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Salihli's Gürcan Vefalı got a free kick in the 8th minute. The long shot by Çeliker Arslangiray in the 9th minute really tested Mehmet Ferit Zihni's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Türkeş Kutsan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Ferit Zihni having to interfere. A collision led to Salihli getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Ömer Rıza Samet hit a great ball. With a little luck, Salihli's Mehmet Ferit Zihni got control of the ball when Ömer Rıza Açıker tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gürcan Vefalı kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Salihli defense, Ömer Rıza Açıker kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mehmet Ferit Zihni. The Salihli fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mehmet Ferit Zihni should have stopped the shot. After 25 minutes of play, Salihli's Sungur Canaydin made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Şamil Kornes was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Salihli's Mehmet Ferit Zihni got control of the ball when İsmail Orhun Hilal tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Salihli getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Başar Tongal hit a great ball. Türkeş Kutsan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Ferit Zihni having to interfere. Sungur Canaydin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şamil Kornes having to interfere. In the 38th minute Nedim Şanlı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şamil Kornes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nedim Şanlı kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Salihli's zone, Ömer Rıza Açıker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mehmet Ferit Zihni came out of the goal and Ömer Rıza Açıker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nedim Şanlı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Şamil Kornes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The wind increased when Nedim Şanlı made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Nedim Şanlı's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Şamil Kornes was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ömer Rıza Açıker during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mehmet Ferit Zihni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kahramanmaras SK. After having played for 74 minutes, Türkeş Kutsan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kahramanmaras SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Türkeş Kutsan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alper Tellioğlu's late challenge caught a Kahramanmaras SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alper Tellioğlu helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Salihli getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Alper Tellioğlu hit a great ball. In the 84thth minute of the game Nedim Şanlı who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kahramanmaras SK's Şamil Kornes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Salihli's Mehmet Ferit Zihni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Türkeş Kutsan in the 87th minute of play. Sungur Canaydin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şamil Kornes having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Salihli's goal looked a bit too open when Türkeş Kutsan came free, but Mehmet Ferit Zihni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sungur Canaydin struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Şamil Kornes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Salihli. The Salihli players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Kahramanmaras SK from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
