When Kirecburnu's Kutlu Mahçupyan, in the 23rd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Kirecburnu. After 29 played minutes Kirecburnu got a freekick which was hit by Seçkin Pehlivan. 31 minutes into the game, Süruri Murtaza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. The Kirecburnu manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Dumlupinar SK to win.
