Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Merinos JK's Doğa Çalkın started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Abay Temizkanoğlu didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 7th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Mansur Uygur managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kartal Yuvası's supporters rose to their feet, but Mansur Uygur was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abay Temizkanoğlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Abay Temizkanoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ataol Öztan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes into the game, Doğa Çalkın cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Battal Hüryaşar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Arif Ensar Çırağ recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Arif Ensar Çırağ had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Battal Hüryaşar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doğa Çalkın in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th match minute, Kartal Yuvası was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yiğit Can Demirel to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Merinos JK's goalkeeper Abay Temizkanoğlu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ferhat Yazargil hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Arif Ensar Çırağ fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abay Temizkanoğlu having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ataol Öztan to make the kick off. Abay Temizkanoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ataol Öztan in the 53rd minute of play. The supporters of Merinos JK booed when Kartal Yuvası was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yiğit Can Demirel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 57 played minutes, Merinos JK's Doğa Çalkın shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Battal Hüryaşar came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Merinos JK reached it. In the 60th minute, Doğa Çalkın got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ferhat Yazargil blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Battal Hüryaşar having to make a save. If Doğa Çalkın had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ferhat Yazargil might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Battal Hüryaşar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ferhat Yazargil ran back to his position shaking his head. Kartal Yuvası's Arif Ensar Çırağ got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abay Temizkanoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mansur Uygur in the 73rd minute of the match. Doğa Çalkın who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Battal Hüryaşar when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some careless play in the Merinos JK defense, Ataol Öztan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abay Temizkanoğlu. The Merinos JK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abay Temizkanoğlu should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Merinos JK's Necip Fazıl Levent got a free kick in the 86th minute. When Doğa Çalkın came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Merinos JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Doğa Çalkın couldn't finish the play. If Haldun Recep had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
