Orbay Kongurtay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Balamir Sarif tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Orbay Kongurtay blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Balamir Sarif having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Orbay Kongurtay got free with Balamir Sarif in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 10 minutes into the game, one of Korgun JK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Kadıköy Futbol Klübü a penalty, 12 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cuma Özsu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Korgun JK's Mehmet Edip Nasip. 0-1. Halit Orguntay's late challenge caught a Kadıköy Futbol Klübü's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Halit Orguntay helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Kadıköy Futbol Klübü booed when Korgun JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Halit Orguntay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Balamir Sarif made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tuncer Buğra in the 21st minute of play. After 23 played minutes Korgun JK got a freekick which was hit by Hasan Hüseyin Talu. After 27 minutes, Ender Kenan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kadıköy Futbol Klübü and the Korgun JK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tuncer Buğra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Balamir Sarif having to interfere. Balamir Sarif made an important save on a dangerous shot by Orbay Kongurtay in the 29th minute. The supporters of Korgun JK booed when Kadıköy Futbol Klübü was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kadri Akmaner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Balamir Sarif took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tuncer Buğra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes into the match, Korgun JK's goal looked a bit too open when Semavi Metin came free, but Mehmet Edip Nasip reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When Korgun JK's Tuncer Buğra in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kadıköy Futbol Klübü's goalie prevented a goal. Balamir Sarif showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orbay Kongurtay in the 54th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Kadıköy Futbol Klübü's zone, Tuncer Buğra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Balamir Sarif came out of the goal and Tuncer Buğra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kadıköy Futbol Klübü's Balamir Sarif played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orbay Kongurtay in the 67th minute of play. Kadıköy Futbol Klübü's Fehmi Tonguç got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Mehmet Edip Nasip managed to avoid a goal in the 70thth minute, when Kadıköy Futbol Klübü's Fehmi Tonguç fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Mehmet Edip Nasip was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Semavi Metin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 75 minute of play. Mehmet Edip Nasip acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 85th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Şükrü Ergüvenç. The supporters of Kadıköy Futbol Klübü booed when Korgun JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feyyaz Bilgen didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Kadıköy Futbol Klübü had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
